Get helpEnergising Communities provides energy saving advice and support through Groundwork’s Green Doctors.
Green Doctors are energy efficiency experts that have already helped thousands of people like you. They can make a real difference to the warmth of your home – and to the amount you pay for your energy.
Groundwork is a federation of charities working locally and nationally to transform lives in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities. We’re passionate about the environment and helping communities to be happy, healthy and to prosper.
We’re on your side
We started the Green Doctor service because we hate waste, especially when it costs people money. Making your home cheaper to heat and reducing the amount of electricity or gas you use makes sense for you, the planet and your bills.
For more information about us visit the Groundwork website.
Charity registration number: 291558
We typically visit people in their homes to provide bespoke advice, but are now offering phone consultations to ensure we can still provide help despite limitations caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“It’s hard financially when it’s the winter months. Having small children as well, it’s important to keep warm. The Green Doctors came and showed me how to save energy, apply for grants and put reflective panels behind the radiators, which helped a lot.”
